Maqsad was born from an indescribable emotion—the feeling of not truly belonging anywhere, whether spatially, culturally, or emotionally. As third culture kids, we know this sentiment well. The world labels us as such; we see ourselves as seekers of "Maqsad," meaning purpose in Urdu.

For me, this journey began in early adolescence and became clearer in college. Many around me shared this feeling but struggled to articulate it. Maqsad is meant to be a sanctuary for those who carry the world in their hearts, citizens of nowhere and everywhere, searching for meaning and belonging. We are the misfits, the challengers, the ones who stand out in a crowd, often the crazy ones.

Maqsad is our why. Fashion is our medium. Together, we create our identity.
